25 Weeks!

Sweet face

I had a doctor's appointment yesterday. My daughter is doing great! She's still growing right on schedule and looked so cute. She had the hiccups when I had my ultrasound and I got to see her moving around. I am so glad I changed doctors. I love having the same sonogram tech and doctor at every appointment.  I also appreciate not having to travel from office to office for appointments. Not to mention the hospital is within a 10 minute drive of my house. Nice and close! Also my doctor is wonderful.

As you can see, Grace is beautiful just like her big brother. I love the 3D ultrasounds and getting to see more details of her. It's amazing to see her move around and the details of her sweet face. The lady printed me a pretty good close-up of her face and one of her face but a closer look of her arm and fingers. Babies are so precious and it's neat to see them growing in the womb.

I'm so excited and blessed to be this far along. If I were to go into preterm labor, Grace would have a chance at surviving due to God's hand and modern medicine.  Let's hope she doesn't come too soon but it's a blessing to be at this point in pregnancy.

The only issue I'm having is lately besides bleeding almost daily from the shots in my belly is I have broken out in a rash on the inside of my elbows. When I mentioned this to the nurse she said she hoped I wasn't starting to break-out with the pregnancy rash, pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy (PUPPP), which unfortunately I had after I gave birth to Caden and after my first miscarriage. I'm praying that's not what it is but only time will tell.

How far along? 25 weeks

Baby’s size? About 13.5 inches, about the size of a rutabaga. She weighs about 1.5 lbs.

Little arm, hand, and fingers

Total weight gain/loss: About 24 lbs! I'm 2 lbs from the weight I was when I had Caden. 

Maternity clothes? Yes!  Nothing pre-pregnancy fits.

Stretch marks? The stretch marks from my first pregnancy are fading, must be my expanding belly.  No new ones, at least not yet!

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty good. I'm usually so exhausted by the end of the day that thankfully I fall asleep pretty quickly.

Best moment this week: Blue Rock asking about his baby sister and how many more months until she gets here. Also he has been asking to go back to Germany. This morning I asked him why he wanted to go back to Germany so badly. He said so I can have his baby sister! He told me that in Germany is where I have babies. Sweet boy thinks that babies are born in Germany. Love him!

Here I am! 25 weeks!

Miss Anything? Balance. Starting to fell a little heavy out front.

Movement: Yes!

Food cravings: Nothing really strong at the moment. Just hungry. :)

Anything making you queasy or sick: Feeling pretty good. Although allergies are sometimes bothering me.

Gender: Girl!!

Labor Signs: Nope.

Symptoms: Growing belly and lots of movement and kicking.

Belly Button in or out? Getting flatter everyday.

Wedding rings on or off? Off. I weigh 40 lbs more than I did when I got married almost 10 years ago. Most of that is due to pregnancy. :)

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy and blessed! 

Looking forward to: Meeting my sweet daughter.

Please pray for: A healthy baby and pregnancy.

Next week I have an appointment with the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist. We will discuss delivery procedures. I'm wanting to have another natural/drug free birth.  However, this one will need to be scheduled for induction since I'm on blood thinners. I'll probably post an update after that appointment.
