I love Blue Rock's creativity. We're studying the middle ages this week as part of Sonlight Core A, week 7. One activity it suggests is to build a castle. We took two empty paper towel rolls and covered them with construction paper, Blue Rock's choice of colors. Then he taped and cut out the parts of his castle.
After making a paper castle, he went outside and built his own Mardakan (round) Castle in his sandbox.
